Totally Recommend

With all the US Political Fever these days, this book is a timely read. It deals with the familial fall out of life held in office, and the apathy that comes along with following someone's bid for power. As usual Didion captures the lost-like attitude of a heroine who seems unable to take control of her own life or make any decisions about her future. Its an apt description of undiagnosed depression. My favourite character was Billy Dillon, the public relations and political advisor for husband of the book's protagonist.
